A very busy weekend for the Moto Rapido Ducati team!  With barely any testing prior to round one every lap of practice and set up was crucial, in the Superstock class there were only three 20 minute test sessions prior to qualifying and two of these were on a rain soaked Brands Hatch.

But with every session lap times improved and Scott qualified 10^th.  A difficult start saw him 13^th on lap one with plenty of work to do, but once through the traffic he finished just seven hundreds of a second behind seventh place and lap times in the final stages that matched the race leaders.

“Eighth place gives us some strong points to start the season with. Brands Hatch Indy is not a great overtaking circuit so starting on row three was always going to be difficult. I’m very happy as Scott has now proven that even towards the end of the race he can still put in consistently fast laps.  The 1198s has also proven itself being the fastest bike through the speed trap in 2 of the 3 sectors.” Steven Moore – Team Principal
