After crashing out of the Thruxton round we the team needed to gain points at Snetterton.
The Norfolk track is one the Ducati wasn’t expected to do well at. The long straights and simple corners don’t suit the Ducati as much as circuits with complex combinations of turns. However Scott and the team managed to finish in 6th place and gained a valuable 10 points maintaining 4th place in the championship.
“In our first season we don’t have any set up info for the tracks and Snetterton was expected to be a tricky round for us anyway. So when it rained for second qualifying we missed important set up time. Scott still managed a solid finish in 6th and we’re now looking forward to the next double race weekend in Knockhill where Scott has a great record, as does Ducati.” - Steve Moore, Team Principal. |
